Rationale

I believe that I have successfully created a space like abstract environment. I also have achieved to create my intended animation such as spinning, breaking and shifting the model as shown in my previous uploads ‘animation’. The reflective metal material creates interesting colour, shadows and light that I am very pleased with as it creates further movement as you explore the spac3. To create a more aesthetically pleasing environment I chose white, plain background because it added a nice contrast to the purple colour. I mainly used object move and rotate to create my animations for the strips. To produce the movie I also used different camera angles and effects like zoom in and out to emphasize the space like effect. The music I used was awesome has it added nicely to the space theme of the movie and also was in sync with the movements!! Overall, I believe that I have produced a movie that portrays my intended theme and environment/space.

everything seems to be fine except the ratio!!....
happy with how the music flows with the moment, vice-versa...managed to crop it under 1 minute!! and i believe it creates the mood and feel that I indented to create. :D

It took me forever to find the kind of feel that i was after!!..and finally i did find something that creates that weird, space like effect. The music is i am using for my movie is called AC SPACE from jamendo.

Trial Movie

I am just editing through the movie. Making sure it falls under 1minute. Also been cutting the music and scenes around so they are more insink with the music, creating a better movie experience and feel of teh space like environment.

Publishing the movie, to 720 p and making sure that the video does not get stuck in the middle like it did in the Windows Live Movie Maker. Also, making sure there are no problems with the music and the flow of the movie.

This project explores a model that will break, spin and intersect - creating an abstract environment. My model resembles a stair like object therefore I would like it to spin as you begin to interact with the space. As shown in my previous uploads ‘animation’ is the effect that I want to experiment with. I want the different components of the model to almost create the sense of a jigsaw puzzle that comes together and fits or breaks away and creates a different looking model.

I believe the reflective nature of my model would create interesting shadows and different reflections as the components of the model move, hence creating an abstract environment. I intend to use a space like music theme, containing different beats and sounds reflecting the animation of the models components. However these ideas may change as I experiment and interact with my model as I use the new softwares.

A quick trial with my chosen colour. I had to go back to photoshop change the colour and implicate that texture on to the model through deep exploration. Concluded that it works well with the material and has a more vibrant effect than the previous colours that i experimented with.

Reflective

I have decided that relective is more visually appealing and creates a sharpness to the model compared to the transparent effect. Therefore, i have decided to render my model as metalic shine with high reflection so it looks sharp and smooth.
